Hello all,
I have a few hashes, which are as follows:
Code f29e1a9dfdffa0b62c813f9d2868fb91ff5f4768029e2cf210054d3a1ad16da9
66883cf3830bac1277b56731cef529ff91cd9e5bd5a8f69fa1a12fd976e8b619
010e3fc2f52cdcec54079ba2b0992d0a3902417c83b34a9ce1020dcddc89325c
9aa9dfbd8acf83b09d554c736914a88b0733e7dd0aa9f003aede9cf9eb99b020
I don't normally seek help as I like to figure things out on my own without bothering others in this sea of script kiddies wanting freebies. I've tried to figure out what hash types these are, but to no avail. I'll save you some time from running it through a simple hash identifier tool. They appear to be SHA2-256, but they're not. I've also tried Keccak-256, sha256(utf16le($pass)), GOST, and about 5 others. I've tried every possible attack combination including dictionary, rule set, mask, etc and nothing is wanting to crack these. Keep in mind this is just a sample of the hash list, so the odds of at least getting one would be high. Does anyone have any idea what they might be? Also, if you can tell me how you figured it out, I'd like to learn so I can figure it out in the future. I'm not looking for anyone to crack them, just wanting them identified.
I appreciate any help someone could throw my way.
account_ can probably help you out with this.

Does match SHA-256. Do you have a hash with known plaintext so that you know it's not SHA-256? Or are you just assuming that if the algorithm was correct, you would have cracked some of the hashes? Where did these hashes come from? Could be salted SHA-256 with no salt.
Thanks Regulus for the mention.
Like DramaKing as posted SHA-256.

salt? maybe, often if they're salted they have this syntax "salt$hash", i guess it is not salted, but still could be, why don't you use a program for this? there are tons of those made for skiddies to crack a password, like john the ripper if i remember the name, try them out

I was assuming, which was my first mistake. But from my experience, if you have a huge list of hashes, even getting just one tells you you're doing things correctly. I wasn't getting that, so I figured there was something I was missing.
I appreciate everyone's feedback and responses. I'll take it back to the drawing board.
Thanks again! 🙂
