How Do You Spot Online Scams?

I always notice that scams have poor grammar & english, unrealistic rewards/offerings and don't come from a reputable source.

BUT

Nowadays with AI, spoofing and other forms of hiding scams, how do you stay vigilant?
Assume everything is a scam, and do research

I treat anything and everything I come across as a scam, unless I find something to prove otherwise. Even then, I'm still careful, and if something feels off, I'm out. Scams are pretty popular nowadays, so it's pretty important to protect yourself properly.

I mean, it feels like people aren’t even trying anymore. I mean, I swear I am not racist or anything; but those damn indians man LMAOO. I get a phone call from one and just hang up.

Yeah I feel like these are the best ways, staying skeptical of anything that you come across and looking into it further before making any decisions with passing over information or funds.

Hahaha yeah tbf, some of them are still lazy as shit but sometimes you can come across some real sneaky ones ;)
Not too sure if this also works - but I just try to avoid sponsored links at the top of google. Normally they are a scam so I just avoid it to avoid getting scammed.

Poor English was my answer, too. But recently, if they are too eager, that seems like a dead giveaway to me.
I feel like most of the signs are pretty common sense. Sketchy looks links and pages, bad grammar, the deal sounding too good to be true, that sort of stuff. Obviously there are some others as well and it also can depend on what kind of scam it is or where it's happening, but yeah. You get the idea. Stay safe everyone!

Yeah true, I know for a fact that people can get google ads accepted very easily to spread scams etc.
I mean normally most scams are pretty obvious. Or at least to someone who is more techy or on the internet a lot they are easy to spot. Now for someone who barely uses the computer then I think they might not be as obvious. I get texts all the time with weird funky links that have bad grammar or saying something about my missing package from UPS when I don't have a package coming with UPS lol.

Theres a lot of ways to know if it's a scam. Take your time, do research. Use a lot of logic.

I don't know how to spot but the best is to avoid deals that seem sketchy, especially when it's a lot of money
I pay attention for bad grammar, unbelievable offers and I always double-check the websites URL to prevent falling for a scam.
I guess if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I mean, most of them are pretty obvious to spot, if you've been spending a lot of time online, talking about years here. Too good to be true, poor grammar, botted reviews, sketchy links etc.
