This is a difficult one to think about, but I might have to go with Bodycam.
They honestly picked some of the best music I've heard in a long time.

I was very surprised because now I have more artists to listen to on a more regular basis.

DMC , a bunch of the gundam games , too many games have good OST to name actually lol

That's true, but Bodycam for sure stands out for me the most.

Can you name or share some of the songs you're thinking about, like on YT ?

I'm divided, I'm thinking about GTA Vice City, the songs on the radio were fucking good, Cyberpunk 2077 is very good too

Skyrim has the Dragon Born song, goosebumps ! And Elden Ring has so majestic ones from the OST

I really like the style (phonk / cyberpunk), special mention to Slowboy & AlienBlaze - Toxic really good one !

Found a lot of new songs lol, thanks

[Purgatory]

It is an older title developed for the PS2 and later adopted to the original Xbox. One of my favorite games of all-time: RoadKill. Just fucking perfect soundtrack omg

No problem, Bodycam has quite a list haha

Clone hero has a pretty fire soundtrack ;).

Saints row 2 killed it.
Saints row 3 also had a good sound track.

BUT tied for first place overall,
NFS underground2 & midnight club dub edition.

I absolutely love the soundtrack and OST of Destiny 2. The epic, orchestral music just elevates the entire game to whole new level, and adds so much to the atmosphere and overall experience.

I haven't played any newly released games for years, but those with nice soundtracks which I can remember of would be:
Metal Gear Solid (1998. for PS1)
Dragon Quest VIII - Journey of the Cursed King
Oblivion
Skyrim

MX vs ATV Unleashed had an amazing soundtrack. Halo 3 also had a fantastic score although it didn't utilize soundtracks.

Halo 2 for me will always have the most iconic game music.

The Halo playlists get millions of streams every month just on nostalgia alone.

I said Halo 3 but, Halo 2 had an amazing score as well!
