Based on your current age, location and lifestyle. What is the minimum amount of money you will need to live the remainder of your life without ever working?
Also let me know if and where you will be investing this amount of money.
It only includes you. Not your family.
For me it has to be $300K. I believe I can make do with it. That's the absolute bare minimum amount of money I will need to live my life. I would be investing that money into an index or a savings account.
I would say at least 2000€/month, so 24.000 per year, and for the next 50 years (if I live around 80 years), it would be 1.2 millions.
With this I could go on vacations 1 or 2 times per year, it's not a huge salary, it's average in Fance.

Interesting. I didn't counted in vacations. But I think I would be able to go out and buy some stuff here and there after saving some of the left over money.
I think 100k if you are godlike with day trading and can return 10-15% in a month. Also must live with cheap rents like $600-$1k a month at most, cheap $30 internet and $30 mobile data. cheap foods.
75k then make small amounts on pretty much Guaranteed return processes like gambling lines -10000 with a wager of $5k stacking night after night

400k will be more than enough for me

Must be like $9 Million Dollars. Lol
If I wanted to keep my current lifestyle/continue making what I'm making for the rest of my life, not counting inflation or account for interest on the money, about $10,500,000.
I think i could live on $1m-$1.5m might have to live a bit frugal
Rep me for rep back and quick love for a qucik love back
I have made this calculation last year while doing my taxes.
I used the time value of money formula along with calculating real rate of return (inflation adjusted).
Figure came out to be about $1.3M considering that I will live till 85 & will not be saving any money for legacy & estate transfer.
If I want to save some money for estate transfer, then I would need $1.7M
