Side Income With Instagram Subscriptions

Some of my deposits from Instagram Subscriptions. This is one of my side hustles that I use to earn extra income when I'm not doing work for my regular business. Started about 18 months ago, took me a while to perfect my strategy due to Instagram being extremely strict on anything uploaded that gets monetized.. but once I overcame that obstacle, the earnings have been pretty consistent.

Really nice, does it take a you a lot of time every day ? Do you post every day ? Do you use AI generated content ? Can I ask you what the Instagram profile is about ? And how many followers you have ? Do you pay taxes on this ? Do you have to use your real identity to withdraw the money ?

I'm thinking about side hustles, thought about making an Instagram account about hacking but I was worried that it could be the same as YouTube which they don't appreciate hacking content and it's often demonetized.

If some posts are demonetized, can you still earn with other posts, or you loose your "creator" position ?

I'm a complete noob regarding that, maybe I'm not using the right terms tho

Great questions, I'll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

Do you post everyday?
I'm doing this on multiple accounts, some of them I post daily, others I post around every 3 days or so.

Do you use AI generated content?
No, I don't use any AI generated content. But I will say that original content is important. Instagram can easily detect duplicate content.. even when filters and basic editing has been applied. Always use original content that hasn't been posted on the platform, for best chance of reach.

Can I ask you what the Instagram profile is about?
I'm unfortunately unable to divulge this information.

And how many followers you have?

All the profiles vary in size from 50k - 160k

Do you pay taxes on this?
Yes.

Do you have to use your real identity to withdraw the money?
The accounts are in my registered businesses name. I withdraw the funds to my business checking account.

Instagram is overly strict when it comes to Monetization. If you have a post removed from your regular Instagram posts, your monetization will be disabled for 90 days. If one of your regular accounts posts gets demonetized, you will still be able to have monetization on the account, that particular post won't be eligible to earn any money. Your best bet if you're going to monetize on Instagram, is to try and stay compliant. Try not to allow user feedback to talk you into posting anything that might get removed. When I first started, I would feed into what some users were saying.. and would push the envelope, and got demonetized. I've since learned from then, to just post what I want to post.. not what they want me to post. If they don't like it, they can follow a different account. The goal is to keep your account monetized by any means.
Pretty impressive, always wondered how much people were making when I come across pages that use this business model.

....

Thank you so much for your time and all of these useful information ! I'll take a look at the Instagram and Tiktok rules so I'll not get worried about being banned and so on.

It would be nice if I can earn few hundreds per month, let's see how it goes !
How much time can it take for someone to start making like a grand per month from this bro?
As you said you post what you want to post, thats means you're not posting based on specific niche?

You're welcome, and good luck! To be honest, most of the popular social platforms have monetization programs.. and they all can be really profitable, if you find the right niche and right program to go with that niche. I found IG Subscriptions to be most profitable for what I'm doing, but I've also seen people make more then me using other monetization programs.

Pick your platform. Choose your niche. Grow your account. Pick the best monetization program for your niche. Typically goes in that order.

It really depends on your ability to grow accounts on the platform, and how persuasive you are with your promotion. Instagram offers some tools such as Free Trials, Next 5 Promo, and Cancellation Promo .. some people utilize these, to help improve their subscription rates.

I mean that in the sense of, I don't allow them to persuade me into posting anything I don't want to post. I still post specific to the niche that the account is. High quality content, and consistency is key.

Subscription rates are different for every country. First world countries have the highest rates, and so on. Here in the US, prices range from $0.49 to $19.99 a month.
Nice stuff buddy! So you basically make money off of posts that only your subscribers see?

My first thought reading the thread is self-made gimmicky videos for the click-bait ish aspect feeding on people's curiosity but I don't know. I've talked to chat gpt and seen at least 9-10 pages of youtube ideas but a lot of these things are very niche or don't seem like they would work.

What type of artists are you referring to? Music? Local music? Something like that? That could work, as long as the artists fans are open to supporting them as a creator.. then it should gain some subscriptions.

In regards to self-made gimmicky videos, I'm sure there are people out there that are pushing that type of content, in hopes of tricking people into subscribing.. but that's not going to have any longevity, and no one will stay subscribed. I have a high recurring subscription rate, meaning when they subscribe they typically stay for multiple months before cancelling their subscription. I have some subscribers that haven't cancelled since they've first joined.

You don't want to create a subscription based off of crap, as no one will stay subscribed, and users will complain in the comments. And you don't want to turn your comments off, as that will reduce the amount of engagement on the account, which in turn will reduce the accounts reach.

Correct. They pay a monthly fee, and get access to subscriber only posts directly on the Instagram platform.

Isn't that hard to keep consistency? I wanted to do something but don't want to show my face. Is vendor status on HF worth it?

I can code stuff and was thinking to sell software. Is there any good website where I can sell software?

Not at all, as your followers/subscribers are there for a specific reason.. they want to see specific content, you as the account owner know what content they want to see, as they've already shown interest by paying for the subscription. So whatever you were posting to get them to subscribe, you should be posting a higher quality version of that for your paid subscribers. My face isn't shown in any of my videos, I'm actually not featured in any of them.

Is Vendor status worth it on HF? The answer to that question really depends on the type of person you are. If you're a hustler, and are good at selling services.. then yeah, Vendor status can be a great way to make some side income. When I joined this website, I didn't have any intentions of ever selling anything on here. As time went by, I noticed there were some services that were not being sold, as well as some being sold and I could sell them at a cheaper rate and/or offer a better deal.. so I upgraded to Vendor. I started off selling Aged Instagram Accounts, which is something I've been doing for years before I ever joined HF. Then later down the line, I started selling other services.

If you have that hustler mentality in you, and have a product or service to sell.. then yes, by all means you should consider upgrading to Vendor. While there isn't hundreds of people spending money on here daily, there are still people that come on to purchase services everyday. Not a day goes by where I don't get an inquiry in regards to something I sell on here. I would encourage you to go for it, if you have something to bring to the table.

I don't provide a service, I'm providing a monthly subscription on Instagram, thru their Subscriptions program.
