Yeah now that I think about it, you're right. Many threads would then have them making them less sought-after possibly.

An annual price would definitely be a solid middle-ground for this.
Or perhaps even make it the same as V3ndor? A one-time $50 - $100 fee for permanent sales tag use. Then maybe something like $10 per any extra tag you want after the initial purchase.

If the price is kept at 30$ then every sales thread will have a sales tag. People wont care about it.

Not a bad idea for Vendor only. But if you wanted to change the Tag, you just buy a new one again.

What if I buy 3 tags that are different and I want to alter each tag amongst the three threads. Would the option be you buy a sales tag. and its just stuck to your account and you choose which 1 thread it can be displayed on at a time? Or is it going to be per thread bound.

You are overthinking it. You buy a Sales Tag for a thread. It's for the thread you bought it for. You don't get to swap it out for different tags or move it between threads.

I think a $30 permanent Sales Tag is too low and would flood the market. Instead, maybe offer: $30 for 90 days, $50 for 6 months, and $75-$100 for a permanent tag. This keeps Sales Tags valuable, prevents oversaturation, and gives users flexible options!

$30 for 90 days (A longer, but still temporary option)
$50 for 6 months (Good balance for long-term users)
