Verus Mining (VRSC Mining via Mobile phones)

Hello everyone I am new to the forum (had old accounts for short periods of time that were lost) but I would like to become more active in the community and possibly meet some cool cats. So let's start simple.. Does anyone here mine VRSC with a mobile phone farm? (or really any phone farmers out there🤣) I'm very interested in android phone farming techniques, especially when it comes to crypto mining like XMR or spec mining like Acurast but I also am into using my farm to experiment with mobile exploits in general and working on using some to create a sort of bot net of my own. Really I'm looking for people who also use mobile crypto mining techniques haha
I was like "What kind of coin is this that can be mined on a phone?" Then you had to go and mention XMR. Your ignorance of PoW astounds me.

Good luck on your mobile cryptomining, multi.

Buddy I don't mine XMR on mobile, I mine VRSC and spec mine Acurast atm. I mean I've played around with setting up XMRig on android devices through userland terminal, but only for proof of concept and to test my ability of doing something that definitely shouldn't be done (profitability sake) everyone knows with even a dedicated PoW mining rig you won't break profit on XMR with USA electrical prices, but I thought this is HF?! 🤣 who says I'm using my own electricity or hardware? 😁 so I'm not really looking for ROI just people who also might be interested in this area... These little phones have so much processing power... for the amount of wattage they pull, a small custom built phone mining rig can go years without being noticed and I say this from experience

ARM processors are efficient, yes, but not so much processing power. It's been a couple years or so since I last ran XMRig for Android, but I remember getting under 100 H/s on my Mi 10 Lite 5G running full-tilt or close to it. And yes, I probably know HF better than you. Even with hijacking phones, I wouldn't call this profitable. You're intending to build this rig yourself, yes? You must be investing something, even if just USB cables. Then of course you need to consider that having phones thermal throttle 24/7 is probably not good for them. They're not designed to handle such a workload.

Agreed wholeheartedly on terms of XMR, granted I have acquaintances 'claiming' to get 1500-2000 H/s on new phones but of course like you stated, nobody has the money to invest in that (like top of the line $$$$ phones) and you don't just 'come across' phones like that... Buuuuut you should really look into verus (VRSC) I'll shill it till I die or the difficulty is too high. Your avg octa core phone will avg 4-5 MH/s on the Verus blockchain (muuuch more hashrate than the same phone running XMRig at like 300-400 H/s) but with Verus hashrate nums and my electricity price I'm very profitable mining on around 150 +/- devices all cooled well in custom printed cases hovering around 1 GH/s on just my home mining set up. (Granted I keep some phones charging on a solar system and have a couple mini PCs that are running all the time anyway mining VRSC as well) It ain't much but it's honest profit! I would really love to get off of the topic of XMR as we have established it isn't as profitable as it is just fun.. and it isn't even that much fun 🤣

Oh and excuse me but, wtf is a 'multi'? Obviously, and as stated above I'm new to this community So to me this feels like joining a sewing group and being called a spoon, I feel as if I should be offended 🤣 but in all honesty I'm just a guy who made some money in crypto who's trying to learn some new skills and broaden my horizons and I like to imagine a lot of you as tech wizards from day one who could write python in their sleep. So if you're trying to hint that you know more than me, I agree, I'm sure that's the case haha

Never heard of VRSC before. Now I have.

You previously stated that you're not really new and have had previous accounts. The Help Docs clearly state that this isn't allowed.

Let me know what you think. ASIC resistant, privacy focused, and as far as I know the only way to take advantage of the efficiency of ARM devices in the terms of mining. If you are interested, I have a small group I just started for mobile device farming where we share ideas, methods, and hashrates of devices
What Is the goal with all these random ALT coins that I never heard of? Is it to hopefully over take one of the top 3 alt coins or something? Once regulation starts taking place I can't imagine much use of other coins. I could see at most a few being used respectfully.

I can't tell if people investing into these coins are in it for hopes of a get rich quick scheme or if they actually think it's going to surpass another alt coin that's been around for 7, 10, 12+ years and holds a 100B+ market cap?

I mean, VRSC is for sure an alt but I'm not investing into it, I'm mining it. That being said Verus has been around since 2018 and I've been mining it at a profit for over a year now. It's easy to get into with some extra android devices and if you don't like the idea of mining and holding an alt coin, you can mine in ZergPool and it will profit switch your payouts to whatever crypto you like😁✌ I prefer Verus.Farm as they accept merge mining of vARRR vDEX and CHIPS with Verus. I just cashout on tradeogre whenever I want a different crypto

I could for sure see Verus as being one of the "few being used respectfully" if regulation kicks up as it is not an additional layer built upon another coin blockchain (i.e. memecoins on solana, NFT's on ETH)

So if my old account was made, the login credentials lost looong ago and most likely deleted, I am never allowed to register for another account? 🤣 if I'm understanding that right, That's a wild rule.. If that's the case though, I'll leave if nobody wants me here but the only reason I decided to make an account again was because I read one of the blog posts about how "you should register for an account and join our great community" It may be great, I can't judge that from the outside, but hell of a welcome
