Well shit, so much for the previously mentioned release window for riddle 12 haha. I was looking forward to competing with others for this come that time, but oh well. Still a very unique and great giveaway. Hopefully it inspires others to branch out and do cooler stuff like this with giveaways in the future.

I was stuck for too long on no. 5 being Wood. Lol.

Oh it's all good my man. I didn't go into this expecting to win, but rather was more so just excited at the prospect of the intensity from competing with others come that time haha. For what it's worth I thought the release window idea for the last riddle and while trying to best cater to everyone time wise was great. It may not have came to fruition as planned, but it was your first go at this, you could be more accurate next time like you said, and everything else was perfect imo.

I had lumber as my #3 possible answer for riddle 5, but riddle 10's answer would have had me in a chokehold it seems LOL. All of the others I either had what I noted as the definite answer and that turned out to be such or I had a few possible ones and that the correct answer was within. Faculty for riddle 10 though.. Not sure I was ever getting that and especially while no doubt second guessing other riddle answers in the process lmao. Congrats again, well deserved!

This is my sum up post for this contest. Probably my last post of this thread.

The riddles were fun. Initially I thought they're easy and probably someone will crack it before all 12 riddles were revealed. That was not the case.

Come to Day 11. I tried bruteforcing the last word. It didn't worked. I guess it was because the older riddles still had potential wrong words. Which was the case.

I started writing few scripts.



Tried a million combos yesterday. None of it worked.

Finally once 12th riddle was guessed. All it was left for me to find potential wrongs in previous riddles. As I have said before Riddle no. 5 and 10 were most difficult.

At the end I narrowed it down to some 30 odd seeds using one of the script. The seeds were in output file valid_seeds.txt.

I started manually copy pasting it and viola! One of it worked. Then it was the usual recheck your sol address and click confirm.

I will say there was a moment at the end where I nearly gave up.

7 It was a great contest. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Honestly speaking. Though I never considered myself as being a pro "hacker" or a "cracker". Aside from the money it definitely feels good to know that I can crack stuff as well.

Full marks on the uniqueness of this competition. I don't think we have ever had such fitting contest to the namesake of this forum. Maybe we have had. But in my time this has felt the most fitting competition to this forum.
