Skull is Back — Reviving My HF Projects (Poker, CTF, Casino & More)
Hey HF,
I’m back after a break, and finally have time to revisit and build out some HF-related hobby projects I started over a year ago. Some had early betas, others are brand new — all aiming to bring more value, utility, and fun to Bytes and the community.
These are all personal hobby projects that are NOT yet discussed with Staff. Posting now to get early feedback, ideas, and see what people are most hyped for before anything goes further.
Here’s the current roadmap:
1. Bytes Poker
A real-time poker platform where HF members can play against each other.
More info: Bytes Poker Beta Thread
2. Hack HF — Jeopardy-Style Missions
A mission-based hacking challenge platform focused on simulated real-world concepts.
Features:
3. HF CTF (Capture the Flag Site)
A secure platform offering VPN-accessible vulnerable systems for whitehat testing.
Features:
4. HF Casino
A fun, Byte-based casino where members can challenge the house (me) in unique and interactive games.
Games:
More games may be added over time — taking suggestions too!
5. Extended HF API
A more advanced API that builds on top of the official one — only available if/once approved by Staff.
The idea is to allow trusted devs and group leaders to build tools, bots, dashboards, or integrations by exposing nearly every HF feature through an API — securely and with limits where needed.
Example API Endpoints:
Imagine nearly every HF feature — accessible securely via an API.
6. HF Bot
A smarter “Stanley” that brings features, fun, and automation to live chat or forums.
Bot Features (ideas):
What other bot commands would you want to see?
7. HF Bytes Shop
An automated shop that allows members (pending Staff approval) to sell Bytes for crypto.
How it works:
Designed for trust, security, and no-scam trading.
8. HF Automations
Automation tools to improve quality of life and increase activity across the forum.
Planned automations:
What else would you like to see automated? Drop your suggestions!
Let me know:
Again: None of this is official or approved — I’ll be discussing with Staff before anything is launched.
Right now I’m just building, testing, and gathering feedback from the community.
Appreciate all thoughts, hype, or criticism

Hey HF,
I’m back after a break, and finally have time to revisit and build out some HF-related hobby projects I started over a year ago.
- Originally had a short beta years ago
- Being rebuilt for stability and performance

- Group Tables can be exclusive to that group or publicly accessible
- Custom styles, designs, and table branding per group
- Optional entry fee in Bytes — partially donated to the group or its leader/fund
More info: Bytes Poker Beta Thread

- Proceeds may be partially donated to Stanley or community events
More games may be added over time — taking suggestions too!
5. Extended HF API
A more advanced API that builds on top of the official one — only available if/once approved by Staff.
The idea is to allow trusted devs and group leaders to build tools, bots, dashboards, or integrations by exposing nearly every HF feature through an API — securely and with limits where needed.
Example API Endpoints:

- Private Messages — read/send (with user approval and scope)
- User Group Management — see who’s in your group, invite, remove

- Comrades API — friend requests, mutuals, etc.
- Sticky Threads — buy, renew, and manage them via API
- Marketplace Management — update/storefronts, set products, edit prices
- Disputes API — create, view, and manage disputes
- Sales Tag API — purchase or extend tags
- Lottery API — check status, buy entries, show results
- Scratch Card API — buy, scratch, show winners
- Sportsbook API — place/view bets, odds, results
- Blackjack API — play and log results
- Slots API — spins, odds, stats
- Crypto Game API — faucet claim, roll, send/receive crypto
- Could allow fully automated bots, market tools, and dashboards
- Certain endpoints could be limited to usergroups or paid tiers
- Some API features may require a fee in Bytes
- Only available after review and approval by Staff
Imagine nearly every HF feature — accessible securely via an API.
6. HF Bot
A smarter “Stanley” that brings features, fun, and automation to live chat or forums.
Bot Features (ideas):
- /roll [amount] — Dice duel for Bytes
- /duel — Challenge another user to a wager
- /bet — Open bet creation
- /trivia — Answer for Bytes
- /quote — HF quotes, funny moments, etc.
- /stats — User stats, rankings, etc.
What other bot commands would you want to see?
7. HF Bytes Shop
An automated shop that allows members (pending Staff approval) to sell Bytes for crypto.
How it works:
- Sellers list Bytes at a set price
- Smart contract-style system handles payment + transfer
- Bot manages escrow
- I act as middleman for added protection
- No manual contact needed
Designed for trust, security, and no-scam trading.
8. HF Automations
Automation tools to improve quality of life and increase activity across the forum.
Planned automations:
- Automatic Giveaways: Easily create giveaways with auto entry-checking and winner picking
- Dynamic Signatures: Live-updating sigs with your stats, wins, ranks, etc.
- Automated Middleman Bot: Escrow bot for low-risk deals under a set amount
- Reputation Alerts: Get notified when you’re repped, tagged, or mentioned
- Byte Tip System: Instantly tip members using a command (e.g., /tip skull 10)
What else would you like to see automated? Drop your suggestions!
Let me know:
- Which project are you most excited about?
- What features would you add or change?
- Would you use any of these yourself?
- Got ideas or tools of your own to contribute?
Again: None of this is official or approved — I’ll be discussing with Staff before anything is launched.
Right now I’m just building, testing, and gathering feedback from the community.
Appreciate all thoughts, hype, or criticism
