I make fun of everyone.
Can I ask why you care so much if someone is gay?
It’s the internet. You’ll find this anywhere you go, you should know this.
Not to mention, I can almost guarantee you most people are not homophobic. IRL I crack jokes all the time but I’m the furthest from racist or homophobic.
You’ve been here for awhile, so I assume you’re a little older. I’m surprised you have to be told this.

That screenshot is from when I was Staff, which I was trying to help you when I noticed you were being harassed at some point clearly.
Goes to show we take harassment seriously. At least I did.
So thanks for proving my point?

and I don't care, I really fucking don't. All I said is no one from TikTok is going to come here if its full of hate.
Enjoy your day and thanks for your post.

My personal X account got banned without me logging into it. Was suspended for a year or so before I realized. I asked for it back and they told me to fuck myself pretty much

So that's a win for today.
How has X been doing? You should talk to Elon. I would watch you and elon on stream having a chat about tech.
✌😎✌

And the fact most people are openly homophobic and hateful will also push away the new generation and new users completely. I'm gay and I'm constantly biting my tongue at the amount of hateful/spiteful shit people post on here. Basically a lighter version of 4chan /pol/ and /b/ now instead of a hacking/tech forum, and I'm not pushing for this to be some SJW paradise, but maybe a more neutral place where people aren't openly attacked for existing.
I doubt it. I think there's a lot of people here that are interested to learning new things. It's not just hacking a computer but a place where people can bounce ideas off each other and talk on conceptual ideas. It's a good place to start to learn anything. I men we have a cooking section and sections in other aspects of just living like health hacks.
What you're not used too is that the internet used to be a place that anything goes. There was no censorship and no being but hurt allowed.
The internet allowed anything to go on. It's developed to now anything said online if it's taken the wrong way someone needs to call the admins, their ISP, their local police to stir some kind of new drama.
I actually like 4chan and the reason not because the hate but because you can post almost anything without stepping on egg shells.

I use Gab for that same reason. Can go post anything I want. There is a freedom that's lost on most of the internet because of people who want everywhere to be a safe space from being offended.
I think my generation just doesn't give a fuck about hurting feelings. Maybe that's why their kids all want these safe spaces from their parents. :) We're gonna say some shit you don't like and might make you cry. And we'll laugh at you when you do.
The whole "politically correct" and "safe space" shit is all Marxist ideology.
AI Quote: The phrase "politically correct" has a long and evolving history, but its modern usage emerged prominently in the late 1980s to early 1990s in the United States.
Key milestones:
Early 20th century:
The term appeared in Marxist and leftist circles, often used ironically to describe strict adherence to party ideology ("the politically correct line").
1960s–70s (U.S.):
Some leftist and feminist groups used the term semi-seriously to emphasize inclusive or anti-oppressive language, though it was still often tongue-in-cheek.
Late 1980s–early 1990s:
The phrase entered mainstream discourse in American universities and politics, often used pejoratively by conservatives to mock progressive language reforms and identity politics (e.g., renaming groups, avoiding offensive terms).
1991:
A New York Times article and other media coverage widely criticized "political correctness" in academia, helping to popularize the term nationwide.
So while the phrase existed earlier, its cultural impact and widespread recognition as a loaded term really began around 1990–1991.

X is definitely the better bet if you're looking to promote on social media.
TikTok could bring people too. I don't think this makes sense.

I get it that TikTok might not bring too many people. If you're the type of person to use TikTok, then HF's format might not be much of a draw. We're more like Reddit than TikTok with posting activity and not feeds of videos. But it's worth trying still imho because you never know.
