I honestly wouldn't trust it depending on the sensitivity of the data you're trying to destroy. If so I'd burn it and then bury it in a secluded area (just the HDD removed)

Ok, I heard of the viruses that can get into the intel chips. I mean I could just take the hard drive and ram out + battery and throw it in the creek but it could hurt the wildlife and technically polluting city land. No, It is still running on this Laptop right now, I am also mining cpu coins on the same system. It's fun, It was a free laptop anyways, already fried it from AFK auto-clicker mob grinder farming on Minecraft. I forgot abo
ut it and left it on 3 days straight connected to a server and it warped my keyboard and laptop case, it still runs fine surprisingly.
