Hey guys, is Reddit the most toxic place?
I mean, there might be tons of subreddits but most of the mods are toxic and have some kind of god syndrome.
I feel like everywhere I post I'm afraid that the post will get removed for any reason, even though I follow the guidelines of the subreddit.
Does anyone else got that feeling?
Depends on your perspective. I find it useful at times. People on forums are usually mean due to the consequences of none.
Never hesitate. You'll always regret not going for it.
Well i wouldnt call em the worst community but its generally very toxic there, and the mod problem is still huge like you adressed it. Personally i dont post on Reddit anymore because most of my questions were answered around 9 years ago by a deleted user lol
The risk of not taking risk is riskier than comfort.

Yeah, I feel like I'm mostly referring to the mods, I think they create a very restricted environment for no reason. I once created a really cool post in which I put a lot of work and a mod removed it and mentioned it as irrelevant. But it was clearly just irrelevant to him and no rules were broken.
What can u say

Yeah.. And it's kinda funny if you think that most replies in big subreddits are from AI bots just to create traffic. If you argue instead of asking a question, I'll bet you get plenty of replies XD
Yes , alongside with Tumblr
Limited offer
Signature space ... 1k bytes per week
Yes , many of the mods like to gatekeep it's cringe
Reddit is where dumb people act smart and 4chan is where smarter people act dumb

Reddit is a shitshow. I get called a retard if I mention my own method of grilling something when the post is asking for it in r/grilling, for example. There is no tame place there.
So I just use it to troll post on large company subreddits, might as well help it burn. Gets me a good laugh when people can't figure out if its real or not.
Lot of answers and solutions though like someone mentioned above if you google it right.
I used to enjoy visiting Reddit. But then it just sort of got old.
I do have a 18 year old... Will be 19 in August, Reddit account that I use from time to time..
To shock people of the age and what not..
But it's just gotten old. It's useful when needed, but blah.
Sure it can be toxic. But just by lurking there I have found so many valuable resources that I could not find anywhere else, so I am grateful for that. Maybe I am staying on the right side of Reddit, since I haven't really encountered anything toxic to the level that is worth mentioning.
It is. It will always be the shittiest place on the internet.
very toxic, its mostly white people who will tell you gay shit should be your number 1 priority and that religion is evil and that no country should have border, crazy white people shit, stay away from reddit
Yes the rules are very tough, people mostly using it for marketing purpose
Majority of reddit is toxic. I stay off reddit unless I'm trying to find the answer to a problem.
