Whats one thing you secretly miss about being a kid

Brother! I rocked Warcraft I, II, and III, Starcraft, Age of Empires, and Diablo I, II, and LoD. I still play Diablo II: LoD, that's awesome!

No job, no responsibilities, no stress. Just living in the moment

Yea very well said. Now it's all about stress, bills, kids, and living for the weekend...

When the sun started setting you better get home! Drinking from the water hose, handling disagreements with fights and wrestling matches, not guns and knifes.
Things were different...

That's my exact thought as well. Things were so easy as a younger kid/teenager.

YESS finally fellow Starcraft lover! I have sooo many hours in both parts 😭
The risk of not taking risk is riskier than comfort.

Never Deal Off-Site!
And the video games. Damn if it wasn't great to be able to play a video game during the summer. Without a worry in the world. If I try and game now, my kids end up taking over and kicking me off the game!

My childhood was pretty bad most of the time but the one thing I miss is not having bills or having to pay taxes, those things fucking suck.

Taxes? Who pays taxes anymore, that shit is overrated.
Kidding, but learning how to do my own taxes was one of the best decisions I ever made. Being self-employed you can finagle your taxes to work in your favor every year. I literally learned on a long car ride one day, listened to about 6 hours of YT videos. Put it into practice the next tax season and have never looked back.

Yeah I mean with my different income streams, there's only so much you can write off and dodge paying taxes on.

In the UK, you get taxed for everything at every step of the way throughout life haha.

Taxes are a ridiculous scam. The government takes your money, wastes it on inefficient programs, and gives you little control over how it's used. I am not about it. 40k a year per inmate locked up for heinous crimes, I'm good on that too.

The innocence, how everything was very vivid and colourful, the world felt dreamy back then.

Yes, when you remember those memories, you can still feel the way you felt back then.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things are better today than they were in the past. Sending positive vibes your way!

For me, Christmas was truly magical when I was young and still believed in Santa. Even after I learned the truth, the excitement of potentially receiving the presents I most wanted never faded. Thankfully, as I grew up, I was able to get nearly every new gaming system that came out, including Sega, Game Boy, N64, and others.

Ah yes, one of my many favorite pastimes as a kid was touch football, which turned into full contact every single time!
