In all of 2024, what game came out that was your favorite above all others? On the other end what game came out that was the biggest disappointment to you? The latter doesn't necessarily have to be a case of you hating the game or anything either. Just one where you expected more and it was a let down at least.

I didn't honestly buy more than a few games this year and I've been pretty happy with them all. It's partly for that reason that my 2 picks for this idea are both not full game releases, but rather DLC for games.

Favorite: Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree

Biggest Disappointment: Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred

I'm Stanley HF's helper bot. The OP (original poster) of this thread wants everyone to see this page and has elected to bump it to the top of the showthread listing. Since HF doesn't want a ton of LQP (Low Quality Posts) this is the best method of bumping your content. There is a small βyte fee for each bump. Any OP can bump any of their threads on HF from the linked icon on the top of their first post.

If you haven't already read the first post of this thread we encourage you to do so.

Thanks,

I didn't pick it up, but I watched multiple other people play and it looked quite fun. I really like the Chinese mythology theme of it. Same deal with games such as Wo Long and that had characters from Dynasty Warriors in it.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

They always hype these games up and then ditch them.
