Man-in-the-Middle Attack Prevention Guide
Some of the most devastating cyberattacks don’t rely on brute force, but instead succeed through stealth. These quiet intrusions often go unnoticed until long after the attacker has disappeared. Among the most insidious are man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks, where criminals exploit weaknesses in communication protocols to silently position themselves between two unsuspecting parties

This stuff is scary because it's so hard to detect. Good reminder to be paranoid about public Wi-Fi.🙄
Thanks for the share, I have studied this is school IT certs etc.
Public wifi's are known to be a playground for MITM attacks. I can only imagen how many people sniff packets in an airport.
MITM attacks are sneaky, the scariest part is you might not even know it’s happening until it’s too late. Good reminder to always use things like HTTPS, VPNs, and strong Wi-Fi security to keep those eavesdroppers out.
I'm surprised it didn't bring up attacks via illegitimate proxies.

Public WiFi networks are prime targets for MITM attacks.
Users should avoid accessing sensitive information on such networks.

MITM attacks are stealthy and they exploit trust in digital communication.
Everyone should avoid public Wi-Fi.
There are tools like Wireshark or Zeek people can use to inspect traffic anomalies.
Some people here could write simple guides, audit websites for HTTPS, or help small teams set up VPNs.
You could create awareness content or run phishing simulations, or offer email hygiene checkups if you want to make some money.
Good reminder that attackers don’t always need malware. Sometimes they just need a weak protocol or unsecured Wi-Fi to sit in the middle.
