I love to go camping. I love the outdoors. When I am at work all day I think about getting out and maybe going outside and taking my family camping and fishing. But when the day and the week wear me down I just want to relax. So then it turns into playing with the kids at home and relaxing.

Maybe it's not so much that people hate the outdoors, but the exhaustion of slowly adding more work hours to your day as you get older.

But fuck mosquitos. If there's one things that indians love, it's rolling around in cow shit. But i use OFF for mosquitos.

IDK, but on dating apps women sure do love to say they love the outdoors and hiking. Like none of them say they love PCs and Video Games which is the appropriate answer for me. 🙄

Love camping, but not a fan of the "camp grounds" most people go to.

For me, camping is in the middle of the woods, alone or with a few others... Modern "camping" is parking a car in a dirt or grass field 40 feet away from another family, and pitching a tent.

That's not camping, to me...

Appalachian trail survival is "camping". The modern campsite is more like an extended beach stay with vending machines nearby and indoor toilets.

I genuinely used to go camping a lot, but it got pretty boring, that's more on me than the actual activity though, I'd usually just smoke a few joints and drink a few beers and listen to music. I'm too ad/hd rattled now to enjoy sitting there + none of my friends enjoy camping so it's only really with my Dad and I think it's just overall a bit dull now.
