Im locked out of main phone with a month wait stated from apple support, any ideas?

I believe I had an old account on here but have been making new ones. In any case, I’m in a predicament. I’ve been locked out of my main phone and email and nearly every account. This is my first iPhone so I didn’t know not to put everything on there like usual.

Here’s the thing our phone is basically our id, during this time my bank account overdrafted and I can’t even so much as access a dollar anywhere else without my phone so what could I do? I stupidly didn’t write down some important passwords. I saw some seemingly legitimate paid software but that’s a problem obviously at the moment.

This happened after clicking the wrong device on the find my device app. I even got back to that and selected remove iPhone but it still wants the password for the account locked to the phone so no dice.

Here are the things I’ve done so far:

Visited Verizon where I got the phone. They said all they could do was give me proof of purchase so I got that

Visited the Apple Store but it’s an hour away, it was close to closing after a traffic jam and they said they don’t help with accounts

Did account recovery but the wait is 25 days which is absurd

Filled out authentication removal request but received a denial email an hour later

Tried iTunes and apple device manager on PC but they won’t recognize phone when in recovery mode.

So I’m at a loss.

My phone service has even been cut now. Even when it wasn’t I had my phone setup to enter the sim pin to access the cellular network after logging in so I couldn’t get there for codes. I have one other iOS device to help with things and that’s my iPad.

Any advice?? This is a nightmare

The waiting period was two weeks, so odd. I find it very hard to believe that your phone is your sole way to access your bank account. Can you still access iCloud? It's odd that Find My iPhone would have locked you out of that. And Apple Stores DO help with unlocking devices, though it may be hit-and-miss.
To clarify, if I could get into my iCloud I’d probably be okay but that’s where they have the 25 day wait to reset my password. The request to remove authentication lock was straight up denied for some reason and my cellular service has now been cut off because I couldn’t pay this week, and before I had to enter the sim pin after reboot to access the network which turned into a problem. Main bank account has overdrafted but I had funds stashed in other accounts that require phone or email verification both of which are tied to my phone.

All I really need is my password reset but haven’t been able to do so without access to my phone number and my phone is signed out on a setup screen now locked to my apple email which is also only on my phone.

It’s also a catch 22 now because I need in my phone to pay get enough to pay my bill. Although honestly running out of daily essentials is more of a concern now than anything

Apologies for the double reply up there. I also am really confused about the long wait as well. And who knows about the Apple Store. It was a just a half hour before close so I didn’t push it. Meant to get there sooner but it’s 50 minutes away and there was a traffic jam that delayed me about 45 minutes on the interstate so waste of a trip it seemed
Man, that’s rough. Apple’s security is great until you end up on the wrong side of it. The 25-day recovery wait is brutal but it’s honestly the only safe route, anything that promises faster access is usually a scam. If you’ve got proof of purchase, keep that ready and maybe call Apple Support directly instead of waiting on the automated recovery; sometimes a rep can escalate it if you verify ownership. Hang in there.
