Project Storm is something some of you may have seen me testing for a little while now.

It utilizes the HF API to read all posts made by a connected user every 30 minutes. When it sees the trigger /storm BYTES_AMOUNT or /rain MEMBER_COUNT BYTES_EACH it then sends bytes to random members who posted in that thread. Qualifying members must have posted a reply that has at least 30 characters to be eligible. Posts made before or after the command are all eligible to receive bytes. So keep an eye out.

Update: 7/28/2026 - Added the ability to forecast storms ahead of time. How it works, you can now select sections of the site to storm bytes in. The API will randomly select threads made that day and rain bytes into threads. You can now pick the exact threads you want to rain into and at a certain time also.

It works in any thread, the connected member just has to make a post saying storm then the amount of bytes they want to rain on other members in the thread. /storm 1000
