What's something you think people mostly pretend to enjoy because everyone else says they should?

Society tries to brainwash adults that the only way to have "fun" as an adult is to have alcohol. Personally I think it is stupid and immensely destructive. So many alkies on the road drunk driving and killing and wounding people. The only good part is that it helps some people become incredibly wealthy.

To get back to the premise of your thread I was thinking about people sitting around glumly in a pub or bar pretending that it is fun.

I would say opposite to that is Funerals... much more fun when there not supposed to be .. oh the melodrama of some people. Watching people go and perform religious things, then getting drunk and arguing about the will.
