I have always collected physical video games.. but recently i have started to collect blu-rays of my favorite movies/series and also looking into CDs/vinyl collecting. it seems like a lot of people are jumping on the physical media bandwagon this year so thought id ask

What is your favorite piece of physical media you own?

I can agree with that
usually i just buy my favorite movies though... that way i dont end up collecting a bunch of movies lol. I probably have like 10 blu rays total

I have started doing this now, I cannot trust the way the scene has moved. I hope the gaming industry truly appreciates how far some people will go to preserve media.

All games should have a physical backup, but GTA for sure. These gaming companies have been 100% Anti Consumer for too long now, and now the out of touch sony rep saying discs are just hot feasible economical and "doesn't see the big deal" ... remember when they actually tried to think how the customers think and empathized with them to make them a customer, not just oh we do what we want and i dont really care if you don't understand.. It's insane, the customer is always right? That's gone.. now the customer can basically get stuffed either buy the slop or don't play..

I am lucky now but I remember being enraged if i bought a game and there was a 12gb patch for it. I didn't have fast internet, or money to buy data. Now I can't imagine how anyone in similar situations is able to cope..

The future being set up for the next generation is BLEAK. but as with everyone, leave it for a while and it will sort it self out.

Sony wanted a digital only future.. Well guess thats what there getting.. A large part of the gaming community is fighting back and now PS5 O/s is being emulated 99% natively on PCs, and there is already a patch for there jailbreak patch, so GTA6 will be on computers way before it was supposed to be...

God is a gamer it seems haha
