I made a program that can shutdown computers on my school's local network with the ip. {VB.NET}

If that got found out I'd be fucked. I bet some prick would be impressed.

I'm so glad at my school man, I'm the part of the tech crew, and I have it as a class. All I do is play Medal of Honor, and I can walk around outside. They literally treat you like royalty at my school, the benefits outweighs the bad.

i did that, and they found it, but they called it a password stealer, and a district hacking device, but failed to understand that it wouldnt work on linux servers or the local ip, b/c the servers for the whole district run on linux.

i feel your pain. i had the same problem with my school techs, except it was a vb script for quick basic server management(shutdown, restart, etc) that i made at a SCHOOL sponsored seminar. the worst it could do was kill processes, but the principal accused me of hacking the school district servers, and stealing passwords, and then the tech said it had "potential" to do what the principal said, so now its on my record that im a "hacker" and they are watching me. and when i asked about it coming from a school seminar, he paused for a minute, and then said i was lucky he wasnt going to the police. i should have told him to, that way someone who knows more than how to turn on a computer would have decided the verdict.

in all honesty, if they have no proof that you destroyed property or wanted to do anything malicious, they have nothing on you, and you just have to be calm, composed, and have well thought out answers to question, and you will do fine.

then sue for taking away your education opportunities with no reason, and for psychological trauma.

That's horrible, and pretty much like me, only my batch was really harmless and did nothing but say hi...

I was almost sent to a jail school for it, they was like WTF?!? The owner of the site was like ???!!? and My principle printed 50 sheets of my 1000 SQL Query's to the site. IT was lulzy, I stayed home and played 30 hours of Dragon Age.
