If you want to learn C or C++, read this post before doing anything else

thanks for the info, good work ;) (Y) cheers mate !
good share bro ;) keep it up
Never mind, these ebooks are lacking C. the beginner C Ebook is no more than 300 pages and hastily describes things, on page 12 it already goes on to while loops and what not.. If you're looking for a great C Ebook it's called "Let us C" and definitely takes the time to explain everything in depth.

Judging from your description you're talking about The C Programming language by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie, also known as K&R or "The C Bible". It is considered THE book to learn C by thousands of professional C programmers. C is a small language, and there really is no reason to write a very big book about it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_C_Progr...%28book%29 Wrote:The C Programming Language (which is sometimes referred to as K&R) is a well-known programming book written by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie, the latter of whom originally designed and implemented the language (as well as co-designed the Unix operating system with which development of the language was closely intertwined). The book was central to the development and popularization of the C programming language and is still widely read and used today. Because the book was co-authored by the original language designer, and because the first edition of the book served for many years as the de facto standard for the language, the book is regarded by many to be the authoritative reference on C, and has sometime been referred to as the 'Bible of C.'

Works fine here, maybe the servers had a problem when you tried. It has happened before.
Thanks for the share man.
I only just got round to reading 'Effective STL', which was an truly excellent book (just like the other two in the series). For that reason, this is being bumped.
I LOVE how slow the download is, downloading it at 15kb/sec right now.
Terrible file host.

Thanks anyway.
Thanks for the ebook share sbrg.

Look what I found on page nine.
I do believe this topic requires more attention in the spotlight (AKA page 1).
Do you have any C# books?
