hello
i hv a genus electricity meter in my house i want bypass electricity or in a simple word i want cut my electricity bill
plz help me
i wouldnt even try and hack it if they even find it tampered with you can get a hefty fine, if you are looking to save electricity you might want to buy an energy smart meter which shows you how much electricity you are using and gives ways to save alot of money per year just google it.
Thanks, James.
That would be neat ill look up some info about it

I wouldn't touch it if you dont know what you are doing.
There is ways to slow your meter down legally even the new meters which have no disk at all because they are Digital, Remember Watts X Hours = Watts Hours so it would be E X I X PF = Watts X Hrs. = Watt Hrs. Kwh is what your billed for that's what you need to focus on, It all boils down to what kind of load are you using in your home , Remember there are 3 types of load one is in the Power Company's favor the other 2 are in your favor. The other 2 types of load are the ones that will slow your meter down. That means slowing your meter down with no meter tampering, Well that's all I have to say for now later.
If you want to slow Your meter down than read about neodymium magneses.

Get your idiot electrician to install it upside down by accident by distracting him.
Worked for us,nightly rates at day :D
Not sure about your area, but where I live the electric company has installed a thing they call a "turtle" on certain home/business meters.
These "turtles" measure the amount of electricity which flows through them and send the information back to the electric company.
So if house A has a turtle, and house B, C, D, & E have no turtle, but house F has a turtle, and if any house between the turtles is stealing electricity, the power use will show up on houses A & F.
When the electric company notices the discrepancy, technicians will investigate, ostensibly for the safety of their customers, but really to thwart the theft of services.
Since I live off the power grid, I rely on photovoltaic collectors & deep cycle batteries for my electricity.
Also, since I'm not wealthy, and solar equipment is expensive, I've had to learn to curtail my power consumption while slowly increasing my power collection & storage capacity.
I would investigate further before attempting to tamper with your electric meter, unless you don't mind being incarcerated.
I was on youtube and I seen a video (I forgot by who, it was quite some time ago) where the guy put strong magnets onto the meter and it slowed down the meter. So that means that the electric count will be lowered (he said and he should some ex's), you can try it if you want but I wouldnt if I were you, just saying.
I would not attempt this unless you knew a decent bit about electronics.
A) Because you're dealing with high voltage, one wrong move and you could be electrocuted.
B) It is often very easy to spot these 'hacks' as the electric company sees you are using very little Electricity for a normal home, they come and check your meter. See this homebrew 'hack' and you're busted.
But, good luck if you do decide to try it.

Are you sersiously suggesting whacking industrial strength capacitors into your ring main to alter the overall power factor is a good idea?

Is it ever a good idea to tamper with mains electric to save some money???
Overall just leave it alone , the amount you may save will kick you in the nuts when the electricity company finds out and they probably will and smash you with a rather large fine.

since it is illegal i cant tell u how to do it .. i give u a hint ... beneath ur meter there are 4 wires going in take a thick multistranded wire .. turn off ur meter put one end in lower left wire other in the upper end of fuse ... remove the fuse cap before doing it ... the electricity will be bypassed ie it is now coming directly to ur home without going into the meter ... do it under adult supervision
