I created a simple plugin for Moderators on MyBB forums.

This gives Administrators the option of specifying a certain option to be selected in 'Moderation Options' and 'Inline Post Moderation'.

For example..

This is how it would normally appear:



Now with my plugin, you can specify it to show something else as default:

Let's say i want the moderator to split the reply, or maybe add a reply for another user, will i have to code it for it to work?

The Moderation Tools already have a default set. There is also customization already available in default MyBB Admin package. My plugin simply focuses one as the pre-selected option.
