Cryptography, Encryption, and Decryption Section. Needs Changing.[READ]

I am studying Cryptography and I would like to make use of this section, however... There are pages upon pages of threads for "FREE CRYPTERS", which all the leeching skids go in that section for.
My suggestion is that a sub-forum for free crypters is created, so people like me can use the section for what it is truly meant to be used for, which is "For discussion on keys, ciphers, and algorithms often used to keep information secret. Encryption is the art of concealing data and code."

It is a catastrophe, the stickys there are for SELLING CRYPTERS, not for tutorials on cryptography! I'd really like to learn from other members on cryptography, but not in the state it is in now.

Cryptography is becoming increasingly important as governments and organisations look to track and steal information from users, without this section being changed we risk missing out on knowledge and skills on critical aspects of information management, data integrity, protection and anonymity.

Thank you.

NOTE: This is an old thread, I realise that. But the section, one year later, is EXACTLY THE SAME, something NEEDS to be done.
There is growing support for this, cryptography IS NOT ALL about crypters, and even if it was, there are no real tutorials on crypters in that section, only crypting services and free crypters galore, it is a huge mess.
I support this. When I first went to check out that part of the forums, I thought it was going to have threads on crypters and how to create them, but all I found was threads on free crypters, which are nice, but it would be nice to learn about them too.

Thanks, it really does need changed :(
Anyone else with me? Please post below!
Is'nt that what the coding section is for ???

The coding section doesn't really specialize in crypters.
You have my full support brother. This needs to happen.

Edit: 600th post!

If it doesn't happen I will find elsewhere, where I can do this...
Any ideas?
Couldn't agree more. Every once in a while I take a look at the section in hope that things have changed. I always leave disappointed.

It would be nice to see some threads that are actually about cryptography.
Initially I thought I had misunderstood the purpose of the section. I wanted to know how people develop ciphers. Turns out it's just all about crypters that use some terrible XOR encryption or RC4.

YES, and that's why we need to learn as a community different ways of encryption! All the junk skid free crypting needs to be put in a sub-section for the cryptography section to be educational, and the stickys put into the subsection and replaced with informative tutorials :)
This is very much true. The mess needs to be cleaned up.

Thanks, I just hope staff read this thread to get an idea :)
Yeah i agree with you
that s right :P LOL
I also agree , That place is filled up with crap. But there aren't allot of people here that understand the 'art' of cryptography .
Even the crypters are useless. They are all shitcash or fileice and noobs register to make money. Theres no point in them anymore, totally defines "sharing".
