Didn't see one of these, and I just re-watched my favorite anime to which I cried ;^;
So what's your favorite sad moment?
And let's not spoil it for anyone ^^
For me, it's Karas: Episode 5. (if you've watched the anime, you know what I mean, if you haven't..... WATCH IT)
:3

I honestly have no clue, but I'd have to go mainstream say it's at the end of Clannad.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Spoiler:
My favorite sad part is in TTGL where the Anti-Spiral puts all of the Dai-Gurren Brigade into a deep hypnosis sleep. Inside this each member is having a dream but Kamina comes back and brings then out of the sleep. Its pretty sad but fucking legendary. QQ

Spoiler.
And I get the feeling I need to watch Gurren Lagann... It's not too high on my priorities list though.

Fullmetal Alchemist:
When Ed finds out that Shou Tucker irreversibly combined his daughter and her dog.
Maes Hughes' funeral.
Pretty much the entire flashback of the Ishvalan War, but the brutal murder of Winry's parents takes the cake.
When Hohenheim realizes he's partially responsible for Homunculus sucking the souls from every being in Xerxes.

Now, I may sound like an asshole, but at least half of these sound bloody hilarious.
I suppose it's all in the mood, but I'm just saying.
I've yet to watch Fulmetal Alchemist. I was turned off by the sheer amount of content.
Uh I would never cry over Anime. I don't even like this stuff, but I loved Death Note.. Not sure why I watched it but it was great :D

Don't quote spoilers, there's a reason why they're put in spoiler tags. For you, getting spoiled may be alright, but for others like me, it's disastrous. I might have ranted here if I haven't watched Gurren Lagann yet.
im not trying to sound badass or anything but i don't get sad any more, im practically dead inside
Inb4Clannad
Hm, I don't want to say Clannad, even though that's the most obvoius for me,
So I will have to say the end of Elfen Lied.
When she died. That made me cry.

Until another masterpiece pops up and you fall yet again into depression?
Don't go saying crap like you're dead inside, the amount of REAL melancholy is greatly limited.. We're really lacking emotional appeals nowadays. :/
Hell, what do I know.. Scratch that, perhaps you're actually dead inside.
