People use receipt generators as part of a larger scam or "social engineering" which involves conning the company out of a refund or free product. Often times as part of these scams the scammer will need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase of some sort - that's where these receipt generators come in. Obviously it's blackhat hence why I'm keeping this very general.
