Hello. Today we will be teaching how to make 'Animated writing text' which is freaking awesome, in my opinion. That's why me and sexuality wanted to share. I'm quite sure this will help many people out, and I hope everyone enjoys.

- When you're in Photoshop, you will want to go to the top right where is says "file"

- Click on "File" then "New", this will create a new canvase. I usually make it 600X200, but the dimensions are obviously up to you.

- Once you have that completed that, you're not almost done.. bahah :P

- Now, you will want to to make turn the white canvas into the color of hackforums. (If you want to use it for hf) but any color will work.
- To make it the background color of hf, you will want to click on the "A" on the right.

- I'm sure you'll find it, however if you can't.. go to the top where it says "windows".

- and click "Character" it will bring up a window and the "A" should be on there.
- Now, you will want to click on the color "rectangle", shown in the picture.

- This will come up..

At the bottom you will see the "#" sign. You will then want to type "333333" (Six 3's) as shown in the picture..

- You should have a dark grey canvas now.
- Now, you will want to duplicate the layer. For the people that don't know how to do that, click and hold the "Background" then drag it into this icon. (should be on the botton right)

Thus duplicating it.

- Now what you'll do it, make a new layer in between the "background copy" and the "background" layers. Like shown in the picture.

- From there, go to the write and click on the "T" tool. You will actually right click on it, and sellect "Horizontal Type mask tool"
- Then you will make a little 'text space' and write whatever you want.. (It will make the background red, don't panic.)

- From there, go to the write and click on the "T" tool. You will actually right click on it, and sellect "Horizontal Type mask tool"
- Then you will make a little 'text space' and write whatever you want.. (It will make the background red, don't panic.)

- Select your desired font, in this case ill be using "HaloHandletter". You can also make the size of the text however you please.

- You will want to click on the "background layer copy" Like shown in the picture.

- Then it will make an outline of your text, don't worry :)
- You will then want to go up the top right of photoshop and click edit.
- Scroll down, and click on "cut".
- Your text will disappear, go to your layers and click on the regular "background" layer.
- You will want to click the little eye, as shown in the picture.

- click on that, and your text will show back up like this.

- Now that you have everything ready, you're ready to start the animation.
- Go to the top of photoshop, and click "Window". As shown in the picture.

- you then will want to scroll down and click on "animation". Then animation window will pop up, which will look like this.

- Okay, when the animation window is open, go all the way to the right. There will be a little tab that looks like this:

- From there, you will want to click "Create New Layer From Each New Frame".
When you click that, you're ready for action!
- Click on the text layer. Which will probably be "layer 1".

- You will want to first, find a color you really like. I will go with some greenish color. ;3
- Now, one your animation window, you will want to click "Duplicates selected frame" as shown in the picture.

- This will add another frame on your animation window, and also another layer.
- Then, you will want to take out your brush, with your disired color and brush a little of the letter, like this:

*The smaller you brush each time, the smoother it will turn out*
- You will want to continue clicking "Duplicates selected frame" each time you brush...

*Remember: If you make the brush strokes smaller, it will make the animation smoother*
- Keep doing this until the text is completely filled with the color.
For example:

*You honestly should have from 70-150 layers when making this*
- Also, rember to set the time on the frame like 5 seconds at the end, the is make it so when the animation is done, it will show your name for a bit instead of doing it over and over again.
To save this, you will want to go to the top right and click "File". From there you will want to scroll down and find "save for web and devices". Save it under a name you like.
Hell yeah! You will end with this, the final result.

I personally use imgur.com to upload all of my photos, from there I get the link and put it as my signature.
