A Beginner's Font Guide - Links & Downloads!

So after my 'bad font guide' thread got some attention, I decided to make this guide. Below you will find a helpful guide to fonts, with the downloads included! I am hoping you use these to your advantage and make your designs sexy as shit.

Some are categorized, some are not.

Bebas - This one goes without saying. It's clean & standard, nothing more or less.

Couture - A clean all-caps font based off of some Chanel makeup & accessories shit. It's nice in context, so keep it at hand.

Sorts Mill Goudy - Classy, as it should be. Use this for elegant designs.

Goudy Bookletter 1911 - Also very classy, have fun with this one.

Quicksand - A nice modern-y font for a number of designs, play around with it and you'll see some nice results.

Yanone Kaff - Too lazy to finish the name, but this is a nice font. Also very modern, has a fun style to it. Most importantly, dat letter 'k'.

Jesaya - A great font, it's simple and clean. You have to try this one.

Seaside Resort - Keep in mind this is a novelty font. If used right, you'll have a kick ass design. It's retro, and very Bioshock-ish.

Acknowledgement - A classic slab serif font, unmatched in style & swag.

Deustch Gothic - A stylish old fashion gothic/blackletter font. Also needs to be in context, but if used right, produces killer designs.

Afta Serif - One hell of a serif font, keep this handy.

Bonveno - Sort of a weird sans serif font, but it's very cool nonetheless.

And yes, there will be more posted here soon, just too tired to do more at the moment.

Hope you enjoyed it!
Thank you very much for the font guidance <3

"Also needs to be in context..."

And no thanks, those are meh. Some are good, but the others aren't.
Bebas is a font which basically shouts "No originality!".

I can agree on that, but it's like the training wheels of design, we all have to start with it at some point.

Deciding which font suits the design best is an aspect of design which should come naturally with practice - giving better typefaces to people who found it okay to use unsuitable fonts previously will not help those at that level.

I'm sorry, too tired to understand what you just said.

No point in arguing then if you fail to comprehend what any of his statements meant.

Correct.

Nobody was arguing, lol. I just have no idea what he's saying.
