Lately, my internet has been taking FOREVER to load any video that needs buffering (so basically all of them) and my internet is also saying it can't display the webpage when I go to a website but then when I click on try again it brings it right up. Also the search function under start always pops up like 50 times for no reason when I'm just browsing the web. I'm on windows 7 using mozilla firefox and ive tryed switching to google chrome and it makes it even worse. Can someone please help me!? Pm me and we can skype or TV. Thanks in advance!

I've noticed using 1 browser for along time makes it slow :/
I switch around between; Opera, Rockmelt, googlechrome and mozilla firefox.
Try restarting your router everyday.
Also check your antivirus.

I forgot to mention, I scan my computer is safe mode daily and it never finds anything. Also I don't have a router :/

I mean like if your antivirus is causing your computer to analyze the page.
LinkScanner makes things lag for me :d
I would suggest downloading MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run it, helped me ALOT when I got RATed.

Clear your cache and cookies. If it still continues then try to reinstall your browser.

I've cleared my cache and cookies, reinstalled the browser and everything. I've even ran cc cleaner, defragged my disc, and did a sstem restore. I just want my videos to buffer at a decent speed, they take FOREVER to buffer. I can literally pause it go shower and came back n it will wont be done for a simple music video.

Yes, its mainly youtube. Like it's so annoying not being able to watch the videos on there.

Hmm have you considered that you are being ddosed? Or are you using a vpn or proxy because they could be very slow.

Is it only videos that are slow? Does it take a while to load webpages as well?

Webpages usually say "cannot display webpage at this time" and then once i refresh it, it loads right up. But occasionally when i reload it, it comes up in some funky format. Idk what its called. But where everything is just on the left of the screen in basically a list.
