Hello guys, im current coding an new language called: SharpNet with files called: .cvb
Example script:
Code <import base.cvb> //Import of default functions
<import skype.cvb> // Default skype import! (For interacting with skype)
public class("main", Onload)
{
console.write("Hello world");
example();
}
public class("main", Onclose)
{
console.exit();
}
public function("example")
{
console.write("Im the function example!");
if(console.key == "y")
{
console.write("You pressed Y");
}elseif(console.key == "N"{
console.write("You pressed N");
}else{
console.write("Please use Y or N");
}
console.read();
}
I will also make an own compiler and own devtool.
Will keep updating this thread. (maby some screenshots)

What's the purpose of creating this? Will it be easier to use, more flexible, or anything like that than C# or VB.Net? Is it being created for creating specific types of libraries/programs?

More information? Is it going to be compiled to ILCode or are you gonna make your own runtime engine? Why call it C.net? From what I see it's quite far from C.
Probably coding some useless shit.

Im going to make my own runtime engine, and im still working on the name if you know anything you can request it

I have no idea about your language so I couldn't possibly suggest a name. :P
And I find it interesting that you call it ".net" when it's not using the intermediate language. Are you planning on integrating the .NET libraries? If so, how?

NetSharp, SharpNet, or something like that would be better since it really is more of a combination of VB.net and C#, not just C.

Interesting, Good luck with your project.
What are the pros to this from say C# or VB.Net?
If you're coding a programming language from Visual Basic thats just gonna suck :/

I don't think he fully understood your question.

"A programmer is just a tool which transforms caffeine to code." I love that ^.^
Sorry, off topic but still, gotta love it.
