[Black Hole]

Sooo, hey. It's been a while. I missed you.

Last week's poll results:Spoiler (Click to View)

Seems AA enjoys only a select few of their OP/EDs, I know I got a few favorites.

This week's poll topic is between two of the more popular SOL animes: Lucky ☆ Star! and K-On!

The question: Which is your favorite? Your choices:

• OMG Lucky ☆ Star!!

• OMG K-On!!

• Pff, I hate them both 😑

The rivals!:

Lucky ☆ star: (Click to View)

Plot Summary: Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who,
despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. Her laziness at school is due to her love for anime and video games, and she is not interested in much else. (copied from ann)

A very laid back, very lazy comedy about some cute girls doing...boring things...cutely?

K-On! (Click to View)

Plot Summary: It's Yui Hirasawa's first year in high school, and she's eagerly searching for a club to join. At the same time, Ritsu Tainaka, a drummer, and her friend Mio Akiyama, a bassist, are desperately
trying to save the school's light music club, which is about to be disbanded due to lack of members. They manage to recruit Tsumugi Kotobuki to play the keyboard, meaning they only need one more member to get the club running again.
Yui joins, thinking it will be an easy experience for her to play the castanets, the only instrument she knows. However, the other members think their new addition is actually a guitar prodigy... (copied from ann)

A more dramatic, straight foward SOL about some high school girls making a band...cutely?

There you have it guys, your 19th AA weekly poll! May your favorite win! (god I hope this isn't a landslide >.>)

Poll specs: Feel free to leave a comment saying why you picked the series you did. Feel free to debate/flame/rate and hate. Poll is public and single choice only. Poll will close in 5 days.

Personal shit you probably don't care about (Click to View)As some of the old fags may have noticed, I have been gone for about...oh 6 months. For those of you who didn't know, I had joined the US Navy
and served for about 6 months before being medically discharged (Honorably) for a leg injury suffered while on duty.

In my absence, two outstanding members: La Fama and sp3ctr3 had taken charge of making your weekly polls and I would like to thank them from
the bottom of my heart for keeping it as active as they did, thank you!

I am back now and will resume my duties as operator of your weekly polls! Thanks in advance for participating in these threads! ✌

K-On! all the way, Lucky Star is alright but doesn't even compare with the massive moe that is K-On.

[Rakshasa]

Fucking balls I missed the nudes :| Who got 'em?

Anyway voted K-On, for nostalgia and good music.

The nudes go to Elfen Lied! Sorry Rak, maybe next time :p

[Osuka]

Eh don't really like K-on idk i got bored of it, maybe ill re-watch it some time.

Voted for LS Because i actually watched the whole thing.

[Elfen Lied]

I dropped Lucky star and k-on, but I ended up finishing lucky star and enjoying it. It seems alot of people enjoy K-on and I have been watching alot of SoL anime recently so I might pick it up again.

[TheElo124]

i picked K-on because i haven't seen lucky star

[Marluxia]

Lucky Star is complete trash imo, I dropped it after the 6th episode, just a bunch of moeblobs lel.

[Dyme]

OHA LUCKYY!!! No one compares to konata <3

[Sejskaler]

I'd actually say Lucky star, It's cute, and random, but really, I am not into any of them, but I do not like to say I hate them :c
So Lucky star from here ^^

[SniperBMW]

I love Lucky Star; it's a mellow comedy that I wish could've lasted longer. It's a great break from watching those thinkers and heavy drama animes.
I'm savoring the OAV for later on even though I finished a while back.
Konata is adorable and the slice of life genre that the show applies is a good chuckle.

You're very welcome. Was fun doing them. Sorry we kinda slacked off after a while though and just stopped. DX

[Black Hole]

Wow, it's been very close so far. Can't wait to see who wins ^^

No problem at all, I am just glad the polls didn't completely die out ^^

Thank you all for voting!

[rinluvr]

I thought both were great shows. But, I have to go with K-On being a huge music lover, it connected more.

[Arruke]

Probably 2 of my most disliked anime I've ever had the misfortune to watch. Those genres just don't click with me.
