The alpha version of the China-exclusive Call of Duty Online is now live. Unfortunately, the monetization systems for the game are currently unavailable in the current form, but the game itself is playable across the region.

Activision announced Call of Duty Online last year, and has paired itself with the Chinese investment holdings firm Tencent. Tencent currently offers social networks, e-commerce, and multiplayer online games within the country.

The game is horrible. Same engine for hod knows how long. (Since CoD2?) Plus, nothing new in each game. You chase a bad guy and a bad plot leads to another.

I laugh at idiots who still buy this POS called a game. The developers and Publishers don't care in the slightest about their fans or community, but only money.

I agree totally. I feel that each game is almost exactly the same, except for a few minor differences such as changing the name.
