Synopsis
Junpei Kousaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately beans the local neko-jizou-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family's own ill-tempered cat, Nyamusas. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats, he will turn into a cat himself.
Intro
Hey everyone! Sorry i have not been doing reviews lately, i kind of stopped suddenly. But once again i am back with new reviews! Now, here is a series that i downloaded but never had time to watch (lies, my netbook couldn't handle the 720p) Anyways, here is my review of Nyan Koi!
Story
In Nyan Koi i found that this was one of those "typical" Harems. Boy likes girl > More girls like boy.
This is just usually how they begin, now even after that fact i still continued to watch. Why? because i like harems, if you have a problem with it take it up with Lolicon. Anyways, Even though it was a typical harem style anime it was probably one of the most "unique" series. A guy who can talk to cats and is allergic to them, now he has to help the cats to break the curse. Just reading the synopsis tickled my funny bone and was ready to watch!
Characters
In Harems they usually don't leave a lot of room for character development because they keep introducing new characters. Even though they did introduce a lot of characters they still had time to explain each one (but not fully). I wish they spent more time learning about each other and less time introducing 10 (random number) characters who just want to fuck the shit out of the main. Yes, we all know they do they can't hide there true feelings.
Art
I quite like this style of art that they use in the newer anime series. I find it looks really nice and not like some bloated piece of crap. The scenes aren't as beautiful as other anime series that i have done a review on, but they do get my approval.
Enjoyment
This series was honestly one that i just couldn't leave alone. Finishing this series within a matter of hours (no not days but hours). I loved the humor, fanservice, and above all else the sexy girls <3. Honestly i couldn't pick who was my favorite.
Overall
I would have to say that this was an awesome anime, it's nothing special from other harems, but still worth a watch. The fact that the humor was put in at just the right time (in my opinion) really made it exciting for me to watch and see what other retarded things would happen next x]!
