Dear community,
This thread is addressed to the UB3Rs and L33ts that are constantly abusing their power over new members.
Why is it that whenever a new member makes a thread about how he gets repped unfairly, you have to jump all over him and give him neutrals and neg reps. Do you guys even realize how disheartening it could be to a new member who's trying to be legit and friendly being repped negatively for just simply stating his opinion in an open community.
This attitude has to seriously change and we have to become more responsible with what we choose to do with our repping power, we all were normal members at some point of time and we know how painful it is when ub3rs abuse their power over regulars. And now when we are ub3rs we simply neg rep a person because he mentioned the word rep in his thread, that's just pathetic.
It has come to the point that new members who could potentially benefit this site are leaving because of this fact. We all know how hard it would be for someone to start their small business in this forum with negative reputations, it is beyond depressing to see how members with powers to do this are acting this way.
And you may ask yourself: why are they doing this? Sadly enough, this toxic behaviour doesn't break any rule. It is certainly true that you can state your opinion -repping someone but, now it's not about that, it's about humanity. And the main point is that they are not punished back in any way, like they don't lose anything, because the members they usually go against have no power to rep back (coincidence?).
The reason I am creating this thread is to acknowledge the upgraded community about how unethical this behaviour is, because in the end it doesn't break any rules (because you are theorically stating your opinion on the user). With this, you are doing nothing but stopping the community from growing.
Thanks for reading.
