Summary:
The plot behind this story is pretty simple, but very good! It is about a shy girl, Tachibana Mei, who thought that all her life that she didn't need friends because she though she would just be betrayed again, until the most popular boy in school, Yamato Kurosawa, takes a liking to her, and throughout the story she begins to become less shy and their relationship starts to blossom.

My thoughts on the plot:
I honestly think that it was very well written, and had some really good ideas behind it, but it was like most romances, but at-least it is still a better love story then Twilight! Also the side stories were really good, and learning about all the characters was fun. I really did enjoy the plot!

Characters:
The thing I liked most about the characters in this story is the fact that every single one of them has a back-story that you learn about throughout the entire anime! Another thing I like about it, is at the start they don't just dump everything in front of you and let you sort through the huge blob of shit, they slowly throughout the story you feed you bits and pieces about the characters! Every single one of the characters you see throughout the anime is unique, from Kai, one of Yamato's middle school friends who was bullied and pushed around throughout middle school, to Asami, who is known by most people by her large chest, but she has a nice story behind her. The only thing I didn't really like about the characters, is their eyes, they creeped me the fuck out 🤮

Setting(s):
Most of the anime either took place at school, or on the road to Mei's house, as Yamato and Mei walked home together almost everyday! There were various other places such as Yamato's house, Mei's house, and a few other places, but most of it happened at school. Like almost any anime, it took place and Japan 😉

My final thoughts:
I really enjoyed this anime, even though it only took me about 2 days to finish it. Everything about it is good (except for those damn eyes 🤮), and the fact that the story is the same as any romance, but what can you expect? I really do hope they end up making a second season, because I really enjoyed this anime. They did leave the ending open for a second season, but I haven't heard or seen anything about another season.

I read this review and found it appalling. This story is just like any other, a girl you can envy and like for being a closed off person but then becomes a whore when a good looking guy trys harder than normal on them. This girl just turns into another namless face on my wall of heroins that takes residence in my head. Her character depth was low and first volume rushed, had it taken pace and move more detail into volume one and then spaced the rest of it into a more detailed second a third volume it would have been much for enjoyable.
