I have come up with a rather challenging (well challenging if you can't figure out the concept) little task that I would like to propose.
The task is to write a script that will decode the following list of numbers into their plain text form without any other information as to how they were encoded.
Code 1096
1121
1128
1121
1057
1056
1113
1135

HINT: 1kb
If no one can figure it out I will release the decode function, until then GOOD LUCK :D

Really! Are u Fuckin' kidding me? :D
Max, this is not as trivial as expected. Would you be so nice to give us any hint(s)? :)

Hehe, it's quite simple actually. Just think really hard.

I will give but one hint.
The hint is: 1kb
That is actually a big hint, just not very straight forward.
Well this challenge is only challenging because your practically trying to make us guess what the encryption is?
Ill attempt i guess.. are the integers the bits and you want us to turn them into decimal form?

But there is actually a simple logic in solving the encryption.
Think about it, think about Python and how it works in certain situations.

then I guess a hint for everyone is this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letter_frequency
also please dont release the solution yet, I want to try it 2moro, not enough time/motivation right now
It is much simpler than that I assure you.
I won't be releasing the solution any time soon :P
Well this is a joke... cbf PMing you...
Why even bother with the hint, it was so obvious...
do it yourself noob!
Here's a new one! It's pretty hard to solve... you might actually need a hint for this one! And even that might not help...
Code 129 165 147 162 131 180 155 194 137 63 209 138 181 208 43 187 137 125 171 67 139 182 182 177 116 157 157 206 191 153 175 202 149 60

Hahaha, if it's such a joke I want the solution. You obviously don't have the solution you "cbf PMing me..."
Don't be a dick.

Quoted for truth!
PHP Code
<?php print __import__('re').findall(r"var eu = \'http://[\w\d./:?\'-=_]+\';", __import__('urllib2').urlopen('http://adf.ly/HmtTG').read())[0][10:-2]
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Well that was easy, atleast with the hint.

Yeah... I think that hint gave it away a little too much...

only lowercase letters, not separated by spaces. no commas, apostrophes etc. they form words
each number does not necessarily represent a letter

Unless this is really easy, you should at least encrypt an entire wikipedia page or something, as there isn't enough data to decrypt it feasibly... for all I know this is just a simple 4/5 character key that's being rotated over every 2nd character, as the rest is just noise...
its not hard, first message is just a big word of words using lowercase. i thought maybe it would look less obscure, and be easier to see.
