Just a quick little bit of feedback here about the site's up time lately.

Yesterday, about 24 hours ago from the time of this post, I could barely even get on HF, and when I did manage to, I was not able to post without getting the cloudflare page, the internal server error page, or the red/white myBB SQL error page.

Today, for the past half hour, same thing. I know that it's not a huge deal, but I haven't seen any announcement or even a tweet about server issues and the site has not been working properly. Yesterday there were some lounge threads as well asking what was going on, so I know it's not just me having the issues.

It would be much appreciated if the problem was at least acknowledged if it is known about, and if it isn't know what the issue is, then I ask that you please look into it so that all of us can use the forums without seeing constant error pages and messages. Thank you.

Hackforums goes down sometimes due to attacks. No need for a thread.

Yesterday an attack disrupted serving for a short period. Less than 30 minutes.

Today serving has been flawless from our side.

Here is past 30 day bandwidth.

As you can see from the spikes the frequency of attacks. And these are just the high-bandwidth attacks. Then there are the frequent low-bandwidth attacks as well.

So if HF goes offline for a few minutes here and there you'll just have to ask those attacking HF to stop. Not a lot I can do about it myself. We already mitigate most attacks within 5 minute automatically.
