Compute Overheats Ever Day [Need help]

So basically whenever I play any type of game (Dota 2, TF2, etc.) or when I am using 3+ different applications my computer overheats.

I am currently on a laptop (specs are below) and all the vents are clear/not blocked

Is their anything I can do, it never used to get this hot then one day it started. Been happening for well over 3 months now. Any help is appreciated.

On a side note my laptop makes so much noise (the fan) just from browsing via chrome and gets fucking hot.

I did a few months back upgrade a ram stick from 2gs to 4. Not sure if this is the reason or what.

Edit:

Just from having chrome open, not doing anything

More than likely our fan is either broken or it's starting to fail if it makes a ton of noise. This may be why it overheats since the fan cannot spin up to it's maximum speed to cool your laptop down. There are a few programs that are able to show you your CPU heat information, and if you just idle and have that popped up and the system gets hotter and hotter then you know it's your fan for sure.
Pavilion DV6 are known to overheat. Get a cheap (or expensive) cooling pad it should help a bit 😁
If it did not happen before and just came out of nowhere and fans are functioning and clean, I would guess, you need to change the thermal paste. Laptops are prone to such problem.
