I"ll I know is that UDP takes their Internet offline, UDP Lag lags them, and SSYN takes a website down, but correct me if I'm wrong... AND BTW! DO I USE PORT 80 FOR EVERY METHOD? What ports do I use for each method as well? Thanks in advance! =)
Methods:
Layer 4:
UDP
UDP-LAG
SSYN
Layer 7:
RUDY
ARME
GET
HEAD
POST
SLOWLORIS
UDP - Sends UDP packets to target. Good for home connections and gaming servers.
UDP Lag - Sends UDP packets in bursts to target. As name suggests, it lags the user but does not take them offline.
SSYN - Spoofed SYN attack. Sends TCP packet to target by holding multiple connection open, causing server to use up resources and essentially creating a Denial of Service to other users. For websites.
RUDY - R U Dead Yet. It submits multiple partial post forms (e.g. registration forms, contact forms) this causes the server to wait for the rest of the information and uses up the servers' resources. For websites.
ARME - Apache Remote Memory Exhaustion. Floods the hard drive with random stuff causing the server to shut down. Used for flooding site or server that uses Apache servers.
GET - See UDP
POST - Sends TCP packets, similar to (S)SYN for websites and home connections
Head - Sends HTTP head requests to websites. Useful for taking down sites behind CloudFlare.
Slowloris - Similar to RUDY, opens partial HTTP requests. Slow method of attack as the name suggests. Attacks an exploit in Apache servers. Sends full TCP packets and partial HTTP requests. This attack does not require a lot of bandwidth, you can take down a vulnerable site with your own home connection.
