Okay so I've seen this is peoples threads -

Goals for 2010 -
[ ] Reach 10+ Rep
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.

And then I thought nothing of it until I've checked the persons +Rep and had seen people gave the person +3 or +1 to get closer to 10+.

So I'm not flaming or anything. I just wanted to know is this like another way of asking for Rep and know one seen it so far ?

Yeah. A lot of members have it. And I think its just to get more +Rep or something.

Its not really the person asking for rep, thats other users trying to boost them towards their gold so it wouldn't really be asking for it.

I think that it is indirectly asking for rep.. Who needs to know what your goals are. With 150k+ members who in the fuck really cares about what you want to do on these forums. Rep should never be mentioned in any post as if you didn't have [get 10 rep] people wouldn't help you towards that.

Asking, offering or suggesting you receive rep is reputation abuse.
