How To Fully Remove Installed Software/Programs From Your Computer! [Tutorial]

This is a simple tutorial I have made to show HF how to properly and completely remove software - for those huge programs with lousy uninstallers that do not delete the registry keys on running the uninstaller, and sometimes in extreme cases they won't remove all the files as well. On a side note, Yes it is true! It is easy to remove those trashy unneeded programs from your computer easily and simply. Just follow this little tutorial I whipped up while I was in the bathroom 🤣 (No I am not rich with computers in my bathtub [every computer nerds dream], it is just a laptop.)

1. Back on subject, you must download and create your own file directory for the files which you can download by clicking here.

2. Next, create a folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\ or C:\Program Files and extract all of the files in the iobittoolbox.zip there.

3. Begin to open iObit toolbox,
and select the iObit Uninstaller v2.0 Option under the Clean tab.

4. Allow it to open, it should look like this:
Find the name of the program via scroll or type it in the search bar, next highlight the name of the program you want to uninstall, then hit the Uninstall button above and hit Yes to the message box.

5. It will begin to save a system restore point prior uninstalling, like this: [Image: 85fdb2a4e92c1b6dd2b080690b947b63.png]
then it will begin to use the default uninstaller by the program devs, make sure not to repair the program...

6. Now we will begin the Powerful scan by clicking the Powerful Scan button, which is the feature for removing the extra junk. 🎉.

At this point this will pop-up, make sure we delete the files by hitting the select all button, and delete😉.

7. Enjoy, comment and tell me on what I can prove on, this tutorial was made in 15 minutes :P

Good tutorial but me myself would never recommend anyone to use a 3rd party program to remove another program. Instead using a registry cleaner like OTL would be much more cleaner. But still, good tutorial for 15 mins work :)

Thanks, and iObit is pretty darn trustworthy. Why would they bother creating a system restore point? Just in case you screw up your system. Never has happened to me once in the last 4 years since I've used it. And i'm pretty satisfied with it considering its free. And registry cleaners are very bad for your computer actually because a very wide majority of them only search for empty reg. keys and delete them - can be dangerous because it may be empty now, but a program may want to insert a value for it later causing more errors. Thank you though canon for your response! 😁
i use iobit unistaller and i can say is good unistaller tool but it not delete programs completely . always i must enter in appdata and registry to delete remaining keys and folders. also i use another trick : i open disk explorer ( exist also in advance system care 6.4 tolbox) and i click analyze to see all content in partition i choose and i click "top 100 files" ( i found some old folders of auslogics boost speed not deleted when i unistall it with iobit unistaller and i delete them manually)

anyway thanks for your work bro :)
Iobit uninstaller runs like this:
1. Choose app to remove.
2. Creates restore point
3. Uses apps built in uninstaller
4. Scans for left over files and folders

I use the stand alone .exe file they provide as well.
Nice tutorial mate, I didn't know about it.
I'll use it right away to remove 2-3 programs that I'm sure have leftovers in my computer.

My era of providing technical support and malware removal on HackForums is over, so you can stop PM'ing me about it. Sorry.

Yes, as a matter of fact, if you believe you still have files left over from something you have uninstalled recently, then you may reinstall that crapware and uninstalling it using Power Uninstaller and it will remove all junk files missed before, which were probably rewritten over by the new install.
GO TO RESTORE POINTS.. AND THEN... HAVE A NEW PC..

Personally I use CCleaner.
Always make sure you have a restore point in the case anything goes wrong but great tutorial mate. Learn something new each dayy
Nice little tool I guess thanks for the find
I use iobit uninstaller as well
Some programs don't even have an uninstaller packaged in and then it leaves useless files, folders and reg keys.

REVO Uninstaller for my money. Then I run CCleaner after the uninstall.
