Do I wait for official release or install the RTM version?

I'm at that time of the year when I perform my bi-annual system wipe. I've done a little research on W8.1 RTM and for the most part I'm seeing great reviews. So my question is, do I install W8.1 RTM or do I wait for the official release in mid-October and just stick with W7 for now?
I'm about to upgrade one of my desktops to 8.1, I'd say go for it. But ultimately it's up to you.
If you have a Technet account you can get 8.1 RTM now. I installed the upgrade yesterday and it went fine.
I'm waiting for the available version sooo...
The version I'm running simply says Windows 8.1 Pro under system properties and does not indicate it is an RTM version. Although, I obtained license through work so it is a fully licensed copy. I believe the Enterprise and Pro versions are pretty much finalized without any announced planned changes at this point. The regular 8.1 release probably won't have changes either, but I haven't looked into it far enough to know.
I tried it and liked a lot. l will just wait for it's official release and make a fresh install.
