Ok so I have a file (index.html) I have a java applet and some html code
The java applet runs but the html code does not. How do I make the html code show up?

Well, if your html-code wouldn't work, your java applet wouldn't run in the first place, so the problem is obviously something else.
Do you mind sharing your html-code?
