Due to some threads about BTC stealers and member feedback I have added a new rule to the Disallowed BlackHat Activity help doc.
Disallowed BlackHat Activity
Quote:Bitcoin Fraud - We consider BTC the alternate crypto currency of choice here on HF. And while it has no official government backing we feel it has value to this community. As such any BTC fraud will be considered financial fraud. Discussion on stealing BTC wallets including RATS will not be allowed on HF.
I hope this resolves the problem and makes it clear that we will consider BTC fraud as financial fraud just the same as stealing CC info.
Thank you.
Sound about okay that its still stealin but its virtually not like a cc but still its still fraud
Keeping ontop of that blackhat.
It's nice to see you taking feedback into consideration on topics such as this, good lad.
I'm a peacock, you gotta let me fly.
Nice decision Omni. Hope this will solve the problem.
Thanks for the post Omni this has been coming up quite a bit I'm glad something official has been done about it.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Thank you for this Omniscient. This is a good move to protecting our alternative currency.
Ehh.... Thanks Omni for making it all clear. I had a good run with my BTC Stealer.
To my customers, program and support will live but do not discuss it outside of PM's.
Thanks.
I think as BTC grows for usage here in the community we should respect it enough not to ruin it and exploit it. If you want free BTC then go mine. Heck you could do like some and get an army of computers to mine for you. :)
Thankyou for the update. I hope the number of frauds should decrease
Awesome choice. Thank you for this Omni!
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Thanks for the update man, good to know your onto things!
Noted. Forum janitor coming through... 👹
Thanks Omni. I'll start taking care of any thread which now violate this new rule.

Good to see this banned. BTC is starting to pop up a lot on HF as a preferred payment of choice.

Does this mean that bitcoin mining is disallowed too? I'm not really familiar with bitcoin mining honestly.
