Hey Everyone at my school people want a web based chat room where they can go on and create a chat room to chat with friends. I have a host and a domain.

But i don't know how to do this.

This site will get a lot of traffic 100-500 people a day, and if we put ads i will split the profit 50/50

Please let me know want to get this done asap

100-500 people isn't very many, so don't expect to get much money. With a 3% CTR (Average is somewhere near here) would be getting, on the high end, $15 a day at 500 visitors a day.

But there are countless chat scripts out there, just google.

There are a lot of chat scripts and they're all very easy to install - most have some admin/moderator hierarchy built in.

I'm sorry but for creating a simple site, $7.50 a day, that $2,500+ a year for doing something that MIGHT take a couple of hours.

Except for that fact that it would not be $2,500 in a year. That is the extreme high end. The most you could make

You're not going to get $7.50 every day. You'll get less more often considering 500 is on the high end of his estimation. Say he got 250 people with a 2.1% CTR (my current CTR) at an average of $0.30 per click. That is roughly $560 (Don't care to open calculator), pay taxes on this and you're left with ~$420. Then divide that in half, you get $210 for an entire year, or ~$0.60 per day.

Wiggly i don't care about the money part of it, that is just an incentive for people. I just want to know how to do it. I want a Chat Script where people come on site make a chat room invite friends and chat and leave.

2.1% is a pretty poor CTR, and even at $210 a year, at a lowball estimate, it's not terrible for a few hours work, VERY VERY few members on the forum would make anything more than $30 an hour, and it's not always about the money 😖
