Finally got around to seeing it on the big screen! It was a great, touching movie. Nearly cried at the end like always. I was given a pretty cool poster too!

Have you guys ever seen any anime movies/series on the big screen? This is my first time seeing anime in a movie theatre, and it was a pretty great opportunity.
Wait, what? I didn't know there was a movie for Anohana.
I'll go check it out. Thanks OP.

I found out there was a movie pretty recently too, glad there was a theatre near me that was showing it! Although it was a 40 minute drive -_-
Unfortunately for me the closest theatre that is showing it is a state away and I don't have the cash to travel just to see a movie.

I'm going 2 Tokyo next winter I highly doubt it will still be in theaters. Might just pick up the bluray, along with chuunibyou movie while I'm over there. Cool that you got 2 see it doe, I want 2 see it.
You guys are lucky to even have theatres that show Anime films.
The nearest one is about a 1k+ plane trip away for me. It would probably actually be cheaper for me to fly straight to japan .__.
Yeah.. after doing some research, I don't think there is a theater in Chicago (and the suburbs) that plays this.
I'll just have to order the DVD or wait until someone leaks it I guess. :(
I saw the area-premiere of Wolf Children at MIT (great movie BTW). The director, Mamoru Hosoda, was actually there and did Q&A stuff afterwards (He also directed Summer Wars and The Girl Who Lept Through Time, along with some other stuff). It was pretty cool ^^
I was planning on going to see the Madoka movie with some friends, but I took too long and tickets sold out ;_;

That was a great movie, and I think I remember your post about that.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MEMBER
Sadly in my country there are no theatres that show anime-related movies....
I'll probably end up buying it or watching it online sigh
