Alright, I'm bored of these threads. Look, people. There's no such thing as a "fake vouch".

If someone's vouching for something, they're essentially staking their reputation on that something.

This means if I mass message my Skype list and ask everyone to vouch on my thread and a bunch of people do, then they're vouching! Those vouches are real! You don't have to buy the product to vouch for it.

If I have give my buddy my drug dealer's deets and I tell my dealer that my buddy's cool, I'm essentially vouching for him, whether or not I've ever sold that buddy drugs. The dealer then makes the choice whether or not he wants to trust my word enough to trust my buddy. If my buddy fucking Narcs on the dealer, then I'd be expecting the dealer to come shoot me when he got out of jail.

Just because a bunch of people vouch for something doesn't mean you should immediately trust it. Look at the individual vouches and determine for yourself which of those vouchers you'd trust yourself. Don't trust them? Why trust their vouch? It's simple as shit.
