Date A Live II
Synopsis: Thirty years ago a strange phenomenon called a "spacequake" devastated the center of Eurasia, claiming the lives of at least 150 million people. Since then, smaller spacequakes plague the world on an irregular basis. Shido Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spacequake and learns from his sister Kotori she is one of the "Spirits" who are the real cause of the spacequakes that occur when they manifest themselves in the world. He also learns that Kotori is the commander of the airship Fraxinus, crewed by the organization Ratatoskr, and is recruited to make use of his mysterious ability to seal the Spirits' powers thus stopping them from being a threat to mankind. However, there is a catch: to seal a Spirit's power, he must make her fall in love with him and kiss him.
What I gotta say: Today 4/12/14 is the day where Date A Live Season II, comes back out. As a fan of the first season, I've been waiting for this as long as I can remember. Season II comes back out with a new array of spirits and bad guys, also with a devious plot! The first episode picked up so well where they left off, so even if you didn't see the first season, you can watch the second season as if it's your first time! Man I'm bad at explaining stuff when I'm hyped up.

I was really happy with the first episode of season 2. It did a great job of recapping the basic idea of the show, while still keeping the comedy. I've been looking forward to this for a while too. Can't wait for episode 2.

Looking forward to the first episode then, hopefully I can watch it tomorrow morning or before I go to sleep.
The first was great looking forward to watch the second episode.
Still waiting for all the characters to all be introduced, lol I sometimes feel like DAL pushes over the boundaries a bit too much lol.

Yeah I also think that sometimes, but it's still good though.
I'm enjoying this anime so far, haven't seen episode 2 of season 2 I can't wait to get home to see it doe.
I'm not sure how to feel about season 2. I just hope it is not dragged out.

It's like 10 episodes and they are introducing new characters here and there ready to fight!

I've thought about starting this anime, however most of the reviews I have seen say the characters are generic and plot is rushed. Would anyone here reccomend it (S1 or S2)?

Downloaded the first episode a while back only to find out today it only had spanish subs.

Generic isn't necessarily a bad thing unless you can see where the story is headed towards 5 episodes prior. This might be a first for you, others might see it as "generic" or "repetitive", it's like saying DBZ and anything that has to do with fighting is "generic", when we know that it differs so much from other Shounen anime like Bleach, One Piece, Naruto, and Fairy Tail.
Nonetheless, just check out the first few episodes. Notice how I say first few, and see if you take a liking to it. I personally love the characters.

Know any mobile friendly websites where I can watch it? I don't commonly watch shows on my laptop since it has a terrible habit of dropping connection every couple of minutes.
I have watched DAL season 1 and I love it, beside the characters are funny and unadorned << most of anime
and now I'll download and collect DAL season 2
