Hello!
I wrote up a walkthrough of Over the Wire's second easiest wargame on my blog here: http://blog.zer0w1re.net/over-the-wire-l...lkthrough/
I also wrote up on the easiest level, and you can refer to my thread here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4370425
These games are great for bumping up your Linux skills, and once you get past these two, you can get into more exploit development! This is real hacking. Not facebook, or websites, but deep Linux exploitation. I am currently working on completing another OTW wargame called Narnia, which focuses on beginner exploits, such as format string, or buffer overflows. I will post my write up once I finish!
Have a good one.
